Small Sloppy Joes are irresistible to both kids and adults.
1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef, turkey, chicken, or soy
1 medium onion, coarsely chopped
1 tbsp Burger Seasoning
2 cups tomato pasta sauce – your choice
2 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp brown sugar
8 slider hamburger buns
- In a frying pan, cook meat and onion over medium-high heat for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Stir in Burger Seasoning, pasta sauce, vinegar, and brown sugar. Reduce heat to medium. Cover and simmer to let flavours blend, approximately 8–10 minutes.
- Place bottoms of buns on plates, then spoon mixture overtop. Cover with top buns.
