1 1⁄2 lbs (675 g) lean ground beef
1⁄4 cup rolled oats
1 tbsp Burger Seasoning
1 - 3 tsp chipotle chili, or your favourite hot sauce
1⁄4 cup ketchup
- Combine all ingredients and mix well.
- With water-moistened hands, form mixture into 1” thick patties.
- Place patties on a barbecue grill over medium-high heat. Close lid and cook for 5 minutes.
- Flip patties and top with prepared barbecue or grilling sauce, then continue to cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until an instant-read thermometer indicates a food-safe internal temperature of 160° F (71° C).
